After being whittled down from over 3,500 participants over 4 years, on Wednesday 1 and Thursday 2 December the 34 best gelato artisans in the world will compete for the top prize in Gelato Festival World Masters, a major artisanal gelato competition organised by world-leading gelato machine manufacturer Carpigiani and Sigep \u2013 Italian Exhibition Group.<\/p>\n
Hailing from 18 countries, the participants will be joining the event remotely from their gelato labs, where they will present their flavour and talk about flavour pairings and how they came up with the idea. The gelato masters will be judged on their technical and creative skills by a panel of journalists and industry experts.<\/p>\n
In addition to exquisite and highly creative gelato creations, there will also be chance to enjoy an espresso. As an event sponsor, Rancilio Group will be at the world final of Gelato Festival World Masters, along with specialty coffee machine RS1. Starting at 10 am on Wednesday 1 December, the event will be held at the Carpigiani Gelato Museum in Anzola dell\u2019Emilia (near Bologna) and can be streamed live on the museum\u2019s socials.<\/p>\n
