Rancilio Group: Update on the Covid-19 emergency

Covid-19 emergency

We hereby inform you that, given the Covid-19 emergency and in accordance with the latest measures issued by the Italian government (Prime Minister’s Decree of 1 April 2020), suspension of production at the Villastanza di Parabiago plant has been extended until 13 April.

Please note that, throughout the entire suspension period, we shall continue to guarantee minimum services in terms of commercial support, technical assistance and spare parts.

We are maintaining direct contact with our customers, suppliers and all our stakeholders to ensure the company promptly returns to “pre-emergency” production and distribution levels once the authorities allow us to reopen.

Our top priority continues to be the health of our employees, of their families and of society as a whole. We promptly adopted a number of measures to tackle this serious health emergency, such as the suspension of production, implemented ahead of the government’s ordinance, incentives to work from home, applied both at our headquarters and at foreign branches, and an extraordinary insurance policy taken out for all company staff to guarantee medical care and post-hospitalization assistance, and to cover policy holders against the risk of Coronavirus.

We have already implemented strict measures to protect our production team, and we have also adopted every precaution to ensure the safe and much desired return of the company’s entire workforce to the facility.

This is an unprecedented challenge for all of us, but we at Rancilio Group are confident that we shall return stronger than before when the conditions allow us to get back on track.
