For the first time since 2019, The Barista League is making its return to Sweden alongside Rancilio Specialty Invicta for an exhilarating coffee-fueled weekend. On the 24th of February, coinciding with the first-ever Nordic Coffee Fest, 12 teams of two baristas will challenge each other in the picturesque and vibrant city of Gothenburg.
Baristas will face the challenge of preparing a series of coffee-based drinks for a VIP jury — Matija Belcovic, Rob Stein, and Kaisa Kokkonen — along with two special mystery guests. On their side, the single boiler coffee machine Invicta stands ready to provide contestants with its cutting-edge coffee technology and ease of use. Additionally, Invicta’s pre-infusion technology will be a decisive asset, enabling participants to extract the finest nuances and flavours from their coffee creations.
Amidst games, locally sourced coffee from Sweden’s finest roasters, signature drinks, captivating music, and amazing food, guests can anticipate yet another unforgettable night at The Barista League, marking the exciting kickoff of the 2024 competition season.
