On June 26, 2026, Rancilio Group reaffirms its role as a supporter of talent in the world of Italian latte art by hosting the Italian National Final of The LAGS Battle 2026 — the premier competitive event for the country’s finest baristas, following three rounds of high-level qualifying stages.
Competitors from the Green, Red, Black and Gold categories will go head-to-head in a series of knockout matches, performing latte art patterns judged according to the rigorous “The LAGS Battle 5.0” ruleset. By their side, the Rancilio Classe 20 SB: a professional espresso machine combining advanced Steady Brew technology with ease of use, giving every competitor the ideal conditions to fully express their artistic and technical skills — from espresso preparation to milk management.
The LAGS Battle was created to promote latte art and spread the culture of the LAGS system through competition, technical discipline and professional excellence. The Italian final will serve as the gateway to the international stage: the World Championship in Gijón, on November 7.
