The team from Egro Suisse AG will be presenting Egro Next and the Connect telemetry system
ZAGG is one of the most important international trade fairs for the catering and hospitality industries. Every two years it unites the principal players of the trade in Lucerne and welcomes thousands of visitors, fostering direct contacts between exhibitors and customers. Rancilio Group will be one of the protagonists of the coming edition, together with the team of Egro Suisse AG. Along with the entire product range branded Egro (Zero, Zero+, One, Byo) and Rancilio’s traditional coffee machines (Classe 7, Classe 9, Classe 11 Xcelsius), visitors will also be invited to discover the new fully automatic Egro Next machine and the Connect telemetry system. This will be an important chance for the public not only to interact personally with the new Egro Next touch screen interface, based on the Android system, but also to discover the advantages of the Easy Switch mode, which enables operators to set different menus according to the service requested. The possibility to programme various configurations in the course of the day meets the needs of different types of venues which, in this way, can exploit the infinite variety of coffee-based beverages on the menu to please their customers. These functions represent the new frontier of fully automatic coffee machines and reveal the quality of the work carried out by Egro’s entire R&D department. The novelties being presented at ZAGG are not restricted to products. An area of the Rancilio Group stand will be given over to the Connect telemetry system, which may be installed equally successfully on Egro products and traditional coffee machines branded Rancilio. Connect is a IoT application, which enables managers to monitor the coffee machine remotely and, thanks to a constant elaboration of the data collected, even to optimize the operations and profitability of an entire fleet of machines. The bar on the Rancilio Group stand, with Manuele Verlato behind the counter, will be a gathering place for the entire trade fair with corners for espresso tasting sessions and tables for networking.
