On October 3, Katy’s Palace Bar in Johannesburg will host a new stage of The Barista League 2026 competition. Rancilio Specialty and The Barista League will join forces to support 12 talented baristas as they take on a new series of exciting coffee challenges.
Rancilio Specialty Invicta, equipped with patented Steady Brew technology, will be a valuable partner for the teams as they compete to impress the judges through a multisensory experience across three categories: Concept, Service and Product.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to discover Rancilio Specialty RS1 at the dedicated booth and put their coffee knowledge and sensory skills to the test by taking part in the Guess the Temperature Profile game. Equipped with Advanced Temperature Profiling technology, RS1 enables baristas to unlock and enhance the intrinsic characteristics of their coffee.
With industry professionals, competitors and coffee enthusiasts coming together from across South Africa, the event will offer a vibrant and engaging atmosphere, complemented by music, food and drinks, games and opportunities to connect and share experiences.
