From New York to Kansas City, RS1 is one of the protagonists of the American specialty coffee industry.
In the months to come, Rancilio Specialty RS1 will be participating at the most important events frequented by the United States Speciality Coffee community, from New York to Kansas City, via Boston and as far as Los Angeles. The first appointment is a Latte Art Throwdown sponsored by Rancilio Specialty RS1, scheduled to take place at the Kaigo Coffee Room in Brooklyn on Saturday 2 March. The slickest operator on the lever-actuated steam wand with 2 adjustable presets will be awarded a prize: a Rancilio Silvia machine, the style icon of the Rancilio Home Line. This is just a taste of what will be happening in the months to come on the other side of the ocean. From Brooklyn to Manhattan, the second stop of Rancilio Specialty’s American tour will be the Coffee Fest, a big show that will fill the halls of the Javits Center in the heart of New York form 3 to 5 March. A huge public attendance is expected because this event will run alongside two more important shows for the catering industry: the International Restaurant & Foodservice Show and Healthy Food Expo. The Coffee Fest will attract the leading players of the Specialty sector from the North East United States and will be just one of the many opportunities for meeting up with the Rancilio Group NA team and familiarizing with the new RS1. From the banks of the River Hudson, Rancilio Specialty will move on to the heart of the Midwest, the territories of the former French colonies, for another important show associated with the world of coffee. From 15 to 17 March, RS1 will be the official coffee machine of the Roaster Village set up at the US Coffee Championship in Kansas City Missouri. This year’s edition will be a special one because it is all set to host some of the finals of the SCA Championships. Far from the adrenaline-packed stage of the competition, Rancilio Specialty RS1 will be the official sponsor of the Roaster Village. This will be an informal area designed to bring together the visiting public and top American micro roasters who will be able to work on the RS1 and exploit its Temperature Profiling to offer a public of enthusiasts some memorable cups of espresso coffee.
